I'm finally feeling better.
How do I know?
Because I quit enough things to take a breath.
It's so easy to just keep going. One more thing here, one more event there - what could it hurt? But it does hurt, and it builds very quietly. I didn't realize what was happening. My family noticed, my friends noticed, but not me. I was fine.
When you start to feel way more tired than usual, when a nap isn't a nice thing to do but the only way to get through the day, when that small pain grows and grows, it's time to stop. And take care.
